HOW TO STOP ITCHING : Before attachment Clean scalp thoroughly with 91–99% alcohol Use a scalp protector (Walker Max Hold Sport, Ghost Bond Scalp Protector) Let it fully dry before applying tape/glue Adhesive choice If you use glue → try Ghost Bond Platinum or XL If you use tape → Walker No-Shine or Supertape (cut smaller pieces) During wear Lightly spray leave-in conditioner (water-based only) Use Tea Tree spray or aloe (alcohol-free) once or twice a week Avoid heavy oils under the base Maintenance Remove and clean every 7–10 days Gently exfoliate scalp during cleanup (soft cloth, not nails) Wash scalp with a mild shampoo (Jon Renau, Nioxin Cleanser, or baby shampoo) Red flags (important) If you notice redness, burning, sores, or flaking, stop using that adhesive immediately. That’s irritation or contact dermatitis—not “normal itch.”
